Back from the Dead???

Well, this title says it.  Im back from the dead.  Since the last entry, I got a job.  After that my hearing got much worse and now I am recovering from a total reconstructive surgery on my ear canal.  The bone behind the ear drum froze.   That's just one thing they fixed (we think.)  We won't know if the surgery worked for another three weeks.  I am a little over a week into the three week recovery during which I have strict limits on what I am allowed to do.  ( I can't even sneeze.)  I have seriously looked into hibernating.  How do bears do it?  Well, since I'm not a bear and I can't hibernate, I've been working on some things to put in the shop.  Stay Tuned for pictures!!!  Just in case you are wondering about the types of things in my Etsy shop, take a peek at Jenny's yarn and more on Facebook. Until next time!

My crazy life

Life as I knew it a few months go just got turned inside out, upside down and backwards.  I just started a new job.  I'm a preschool teacher for a great class of two year olds.  The first day I went home after work and after cleaning the house I crawled into bed!  The picture that you see is jonathan On his way to preschool on monday.   I'll sign off for now.  More to come.

Jonathan and the violin

Jonathan has been enthralled with the violin for two years.  Every time he hears or sees one, he goes bonkers.  Last year we got him a toy violin.  Of course this one didn't last long.  About a week ago, we decided to rent one just to see how he would take to it.  Josh's sister is teaching Josh and jonathan.

Life as we know it. Blessings and all

I sent Jonathan up to change into a different pair of pants.  (the kind that don't slide to his ankles every time he moves)  He decided to play in his room so I think I will take advantage and blog a bit.  As you know, we just went through the most horrendous move of our lives.  This will hopefully be the last move.

The last couple entries have been short and sweet.  Written to let you know that I did not fall off the planet.  Now for the story behind the move,  Two years ago we left our families behind to take a job in another state.  Six months later, seventy five percent of the company got laid off.  Josh survived the lay off.  This last December the company got sold.  We did not know if Josh had a job when this happened so the job search commenced.  Any way  long story short, three week after starting a new job, Josh got a call from a friend at the old company saying everyone else connected to the original company (before the sale) was let go.  He had just barely dodged a bullet.

During his first month at the new job I packed up our lives and prepared to move closer to his office.  We are renting the house that I showed pictures of with the hopes to buy it sometime soon.

The new house

We are still settling into the new house.  Here are some pictures as promised.  The first picture is our house and the second is the backyard.  Not much of an entry this morning but Jonathan is awake.  I'm going to go play with my son.

I'm back

It's late but i thought I 'd write an entry to confirm that indeed, I am still alive.  I finally have my Computer back after moving into a new house.  This house is the one I hope Jonathan can grow up in.  I hope we can put down roots.  I will write more later but right now my son is curled up in my bed and I am exhausted!   This move has not been easy.  Take care, my friends!
